There's something clean and pure about cookware that's stainless steel inside and out. This stylishly finished version from KitchenAid's Gourmet Essentials series features a brightly polished interior that discourages food from sticking, and a handsomely brushed exterior with a shiny band along the rim. Each pan is entirely constructed of premium 18/10 stainless steel, except for the encapsulated aluminum disk in the base (aluminum makes a superior conductor of heat), and the silicone grip encasing the handle. Even the tight-fitting lids are stainless steel. Each piece is oven-safe to 400 degrees F and is dishwasher-safe.
Whether you want to fry up pancakes for breakfast, warm soup for lunch, or feed chili to a crowd, this set more than accommodates your most typical cooking needs. This was my sixth order of Pyrex storage items in the past ten months. I now own 44 containers (plus 44 lids) in various sizes from 1 cup to 7 cups. There are always several in the freezer, many in the refrigerator, a handful in the cupboard, a few in the dishwasher and one or two storing bulk ingredients in the pantry. With the clear bowls, refrigerated leftovers are no longer forgotten until it's too late. If you're purchasing Pyrex storage pieces for the first time this is a great starter set. If you're not sure which size(s) are best for your household, start with this set (one each 2-cup, 4-cup and 7-cup sizes plus lids) and/or the other 6-piece set (one each 1-cup, 2-cup and 4-cup sizes plus lids). Once you use them on a daily basis you'll know which sizes or sets are most useful in your household. I guarantee you'll be ordering more. Start checking the prices every day. One morning you'll log in and the items you need will be at a too-good-to-pass-up price. That's how I've placed each of my six orders. As I result, my 44 containers have averaged $4.72 per bowl+lid set. These containers have made healthful eating so much easier. In the winter I cook large quantities of vegetable and grain stews and soups in a slow cooker and freeze the leftovers in 1-cup and 2-cup containers. These have totally replaced prepared frozen dinners. With summer in full swing, I wash and tear a head of romaine lettuce that fills the 7-cup size and use a variety of 1- and 2-cup containers for assorted salad vegetables run through the food processor. This cart has a very small footprint. It is excellent for small spaces, or as a second grill cart for a Weber 100. I have a Q 120 with the fold out side tables. I cook for a men's Bocce Ball league and the Weber has been a great way to serve fresh cooked sausage, chicken and beef. Trouble was, it was about a 250 yard hump each way carrying the Q outstretched in front me to the Bocce Ball courts and back to the parking lot. After awkwardly carrying the Q back and forth a few times and making extra trips for the food- buying the scrawny looking cart seemed to make sense. The travel distance potential for my Q is only limited by my ability to walk (or climb). It does what it was designed to do and a little more when stacked with ice chests and dry goods. When not used as a dolly it simply converts to a patio grill table for home use. When not in use it folds flat for easy storage. All in all money well spent. In addition, the price from Amazon was 10 bucks cheaper than my local retailer. With super saver shipping in 3 days I wondered why I waited so long to buy. These pots are pretty thin and you can expect the base to be of the same thickness as the sides. Still, I thought it was a good deal when I paid a little over $21! In a few days the price went down further to about $17. That would have been a better price to pay! They stack well and the lid of the smaller one fits into the next size (except for the largest of course). They could dent easily! They heat up quickly and are great when you need to make cheese or just make stocks and soups for a large gathering! It's also great as a double boiler

It's semiautomatic because all that's required is to fill the water tank, place ground coffee into a receptacle, and pull a lever. Within seconds coffee flows from the double spout, which adjusts for different cup heights, into one or two cups. No tamping is required because the machine tamps the coffee precisely and automatically. Nor is it necessary to clean used coffee grounds out of a messy filter holder, because there is no filter holder, and the machine automatically discards grounds into a waste tray. The tray also catches overflows, and a light shows when it needs emptying.
For steaming and frothing milk to make cappuccinos, lattes, and hot chocolates and for delivering hot water for tea, there's a wand that rotates out to fit inside a pitcher or cup. Fully automatic and precisely controlled by a timer, this machine takes the trouble and guesswork out of making ice cream, sorbet, frozen yogurt, gelato, and frozen drinks at home. Ingredients go into the bowl, the timer is set, two buttons are pressed and about 30 minutes later 1-1/2 quarts of a frozen confection are ready for consumption. Because the machine doesn't require its bowl to be frozen for hours in a refrigerator's freezer (like less expensive machines that only churn), it can immediately begin making another batch. If a batch becomes too hard the machine shuts off automatically. Not only does it work professionally it looks the part, as the housing, bowl, and paddle are made of stainless steel for sanitation and easy cleaning. The 100-watt machine measures 12 inches wide, 11 inches high, and 18 inches deep, and it weighs 38 pounds. Made it Italy, it carries a one-year warranty against defects. Lids are domed, made of polished stainless steel, and have knobs that adjust to vent steam for controlled cooking. Ergonomic handles made of tough plastic stay cool on the stovetop and are oven-safe to 350 degrees F. They're welded, with no inside rivets to trap food, and have hanging holes. Though inexpensive, the cookware is handsome and stylish, with charcoal gray exteriors and charcoal black interiors. Bottoms resist warping for uniform heating without hot spots. Inside the Dutch oven and pans' bottoms are T-Fal Thermospots that turn solid red when the pan is properly preheated.
