At a third of the regular retail price, this set was an awesome deal. One of the biggest selling points for me was the number of pieces. Most sets I looked at were just too small and I would end up having to buy additional pieces. It is a really nice looking set and they feel hearty. I am still trying to get used to the right temperature when cooking in them. If you have hard water it is difficult to keep them looking clean and spot free. I looked for months before purchasing these and I was hesitant initially because I have not had the best luck with Cuisanart products, but I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this set.... This budget-priced cookware set is perfect for college students or young couples who are setting up a first kitchen. The 14-piece set has everything necessary for the basic meals attempted by entry-level cooks (pasta and sauce, eggs, and anything pre-packaged). The pans in the set include four covered saucepans in 1-, 1-1/2-, 2-, and 4-1/2-quart sizes and two nonstick skillets in 9- and 10-1/2-inch sizes. The pans are accompanied by four kitchen tools: a slotted spatula, a ladle, a slotted spoon, and a pasta fork.
Made of aluminum, which is an excellent conductor of heat, these pans warm up through the bottoms and sides for even cooking. A nonstick coating on the interior and exterior of the pan reduces the need to cook with extra fats and makes cleanup fast and easy. Pans have durable, riveted phenolic handles that stay cool on the stovetop and see-through glass lids for keeping an eye on supper as it cooks. I have been shopping on Amazon for ten years. During that time I have had occasion to purchase six different brands of cookware for myself and as gifts. I have only been pleased with two sets out of the six purchased from Amazon. The Anolon Titanium non-stick cookware sets is one, while the very expensive cast-iron Le Creuset, made in France, is the other. The Anolon Titanium set has been in daily use for over two years in my family while the beautiful Le Creuset cookware has mostly been on display. The Anolon Titanium pots and pans cook well, clean up easily, and the non-stick has not degraded much at all, even after constant use.
